**Viral Sensation**

**A Spark of Hope in Dark Times**

Imagine living in a world where hope seems lost, where darkness surrounds you, and despair grips your heart. This was the reality for Jakob, a prisoner in a Jewish Ghetto in Poland during World War II. Yet, one day, Jakob stumbled upon a radio broadcast that brought a glimmer of hope to his community. As he shared the news with others, it spread like wildfire, reigniting a sense of purpose and meaning in the midst of desperation.

This powerful scene from the movie “Jakob the Liar” reminded me of the transformative power of hope. As Christians, we often take for granted the hope we have in Christ, forgetting that many around us are living without it. We forget that we are called to be beacons of light in dark places, sharing the hope that can rescue others eternally.

**Unleashing a Pandemic of Love**

What if we used our God-given gifts to overwhelm others with the love of Jesus? What if our churches were known for their outbreaks of love and good deeds? Would people see the hope we have in Christ and be “infected” with our love for God and others? It only takes one person to spark a movement.

**Reflecting on Our Gifts**

Take a moment to reflect on the gifts God has given you. Ask yourself how He wants you to use those gifts to bring His light into the dark places around you. Are you using your talents to spread hope and love?

**Renewing Your Relationship with Christ**

If you’ve lost hope and want to renew your relationship with Christ, you can do so today. It’s as simple as expressing your faith through prayer. Here’s a suggested prayer to get you started:

“Dear Father, I need You. I acknowledge that I have been directing my own life and that, as a result, I have sinned against You. I thank You that You have forgiven my sins through Christ’s death on the cross for me. I now invite Christ to again take His place on the throne of my life. Fill me with the Holy Spirit as You commanded me to be filled, and as You promised in Your Word that You would do if I asked in faith. I now thank You for directing my life and for filling me with the Holy Spirit.”

If you prayed this prayer, we’d love to hear about it and send you resources to help you discover more about the Spirit-led life.
