**Building on Solid Ground**

Embracing the Unchanging Blueprint of God

In a world where trends come and go, it’s refreshing to know that God’s plan for our lives remains unwavering. We were created to reflect the image of Christ, and this purpose has not faded with time. The Father’s heart beats with a singular desire: to see His Son revealed in us.

As we strive to become like Christ, we must shift our focus from what we do for God to what we become to Him. It’s not about our accomplishments, but about the transformation that takes place in our hearts. The Father is not impressed by our works, but by the revelation of His Son in us. As Paul so eloquently put it, we become a “fragrance of Christ to God” (2 Corinthians 2:15).

In our pursuit of Christlikeness, we find true spiritual assurance that we’re not being led astray. It’s here that we discover the path to truth, for “truth is in Jesus” (Ephesians 4:21). He Himself is the way, the truth, and the life. Intimacy with Christ is the key to conformity, and it’s this deep connection that Paul longed for when he wrote, “That I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death” (Philippians 3:10).

As we build our lives on the foundation of Christ, we’ll find that our transformation will burn in God’s heart until we attain the unity of faith and knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature that belongs to the fullness of Christ (Ephesians 4:13). This is the unchanging goal of God for the church, and it’s what drives us to become like Christ.

In a world filled with false doctrines and misguided priorities, it’s crucial that we anchor ourselves to the pursuit of Christlikeness. This is where we find true spiritual growth, and where we’re secured upon the path to truth. As we seek to become like Christ, we’ll discover that our lives are built on a foundation that will never fade or become obsolete.
