Uncovering Your True Identity
Deep within, we all crave to be understood and known for who we truly are. We yearn for someone to help us unravel the mysteries of our existence, to answer the fundamental questions: “Who am I, really?” and “Why am I here?” The truth is, God had a plan for us long before we took our first breath. However, life’s twists and turns, the opinions of others, and our own struggles often distort this original design, leaving us feeling lost and uncertain.
God’s Masterpiece
The Bible reminds us that we are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:12-16). God created us special, with a unique purpose and plan. Our Father longs for us to grasp four foundational truths about our identity:
- We are uniquely crafted, special, and loved (Psalms 139:13-16)
- We are created for a specific purpose (Ephesians 2:10)
- We are strategically placed in this time and place (Acts 17:26, Esther 4:14)
- We are gifted and needed by those around us (Romans 12:6-7, 1 Peter 4:10-11, 1 Corinthians 12:12-15)
Discovering Our True Selves
When we fully understand these principles, it revolutionizes the way we see ourselves and the world around us. I personally discovered life-changing teachings that helped me uncover God’s design for my life. These teachings have been liberating for everyone I’ve shared them with. One young woman exclaimed, “I’m normal!” Another young man said, “This describes me better than I could describe myself.”
Designed for Fulfillment
Recently, Chuck Wale compiled these teachings into a resource workbook called Designed for Fulfillment. The book is based on the seven gifts mentioned in Romans 12:6-7, which include prophet, servant, teacher, exhorter, giver, ruler, and mercy. These gifts are not just personality traits but the essence of who we were created to be. They shed light on our spirit, soul, personality, outlook on life, and even our ministry.
Unleashing Our Full Potential
Through this study, we can gain a deeper understanding of why God created us. Each of the seven gifts is explored in-depth, providing a more complete picture of who we are meant to be. These concepts have been transformational for me, and I’m confident they will be a tremendous blessing to you personally and an asset in your ministry.
