The Power of Gentle Evangelism
Have you ever heard someone say, “Mind your own business!” when it comes to sharing your faith? But think about it – where would you be today if the person who introduced you to Christ had kept quiet?
The Freedom to Choose
Sharing Christ doesn’t have to mean forcing your views on others. When you approach conversations with a gentle spirit of love, you’re not coercing anyone into listening. The person is free to engage, change the subject, or walk away. It’s their choice.
A Spiritual Battle
My husband, Bill, had a remarkable gift for leading people to Christ. Whenever he shared his faith, he’d silently pray for God to bind Satan’s influence, allowing the person to hear the message and make a free decision. It’s a spiritual battle, indeed, but remember – if Satan is resisting, it’s because he’s worried about losing ground!
A Gentle Approach
So, how can you share your faith without being pushy or aggressive? Start by praying for opportunities to share your story, and ask God to give you a gentle, loving spirit. When you speak from a place of love, you’ll be surprised at how receptive people can be.
Breaking Down Barriers
By sharing your faith in a gentle, non-threatening way, you can break down barriers and open doors to meaningful conversations. And who knows – you might just change someone’s life forever!
