The Unwavering Presence of God
In the stillness of dawn, when morning light creeps over the horizon, I am reminded of my utter dependence on You, Lord. As the day unfolds, and the sun’s warm rays give way to the gentle hues of sunset, my heart beats with the same rhythm: I need You, Lord. Whether I’m lost in the darkness of night or basking in the radiance of day, my soul cries out for Your presence.
In Every Moment, I Need You
In the ebb and flow of life, I need You, Lord, when I rise and when I sit, when I venture out and when I return, when I’m quiet and when I’m active, when I’m alone and when I’m surrounded by others. In times of health and in times of illness, in moments of triumph and in moments of defeat, my need for You remains constant.
The Rhythm of Life
I need You, Lord, when my lungs draw breath, when my heart beats, and when my body moves. I need You when my mind thinks, when my heart loves, and when my spirit yearns. In the grand tapestry of creation, I need You as much as birds need flight, whales need the sea, clouds need moisture, wildflowers need raindrops, and sunflowers need the summer sun.
Eternal Dependence
In this fleeting moment, I need You, Lord. In the moment when You call me home, I’ll need You still. And in all the moments in between, my need for You will never waver. As the Scriptures remind us, “In Him we live and move and have our being” (Acts 17:28 NKJV). You are the Creator who holds all things together, the Author of life who sustains me from dawn till dusk (Colossians 1:16-17 NLT).
