**Miraculous Love Without Conditions**

**Unconditional Love: The Miraculous Gift**

As I delved into the prayer of Jesus to God the Father in John 17:22-23, I was struck by a profound realization: God loves me with the same intensity and depth as He loves His only begotten Son! This understanding shook me to my core, filling me with an overwhelming sense of gratitude and awe.

What’s remarkable about God’s love is that it’s not based on our worthiness or good deeds. Rather, it’s an inherent aspect of His nature, a reflection of who He is. This unconditional love knows no bounds, no strings attached. It’s a love that’s patient, kind, and loyal, never seeking its own way or holding grudges.

As I reflect on the 13th chapter of 1 Corinthians, I’m reminded of the transformative power of agape – sacrificial, supernatural, and unconditional love. This love is not irritable, touchy, or proud; it rejoices in truth and always believes in the best of others. When we allow Jesus to reside within us, this same supernatural love begins to flow through us, enabling us to love others with a depth and sincerity that’s truly miraculous.

**The Illegitimate Limits of God’s Love**

So, why do we often try to put limitations on God’s love? We may think that our mistakes, failures, or shortcomings make us unworthy of His affection. But these limitations are illegitimate because they’re based on our own understanding of love, rather than God’s. His love is not bound by our finite thinking or conditional relationships.

As we embrace the simplicity and beauty of God’s love, we begin to experience a freedom that’s hard to put into words. We’re no longer held back by our own insecurities or fears, but are empowered to love others with a love that’s truly supernatural.
