Breakthrough to God’s Presence: Unlocking a Deeper Connection

Unlocking the Gate to God’s Presence

Have you ever felt like an outsider, longing to experience a deeper connection with God, but unsure of how to get there? You’re not alone. Many of us find ourselves peering through the fence, watching others enjoy a vibrant relationship with God, while we’re stuck on the outside, wondering how to break in.

The Ticket Has Already Been Paid

The good news is that the ticket to God’s presence has already been purchased – at the highest price imaginable. Jesus’ death on the cross was the ultimate act of love, providing a way for us to enter into a personal relationship with God. The only requirement is that we believe we’re invited.

Why We Struggle to Connect

So, why do we often struggle to connect with God? Sometimes, we focus too much on our circumstances, blaming God for the things that have gone wrong. Other times, we keep God at arm’s length, making Him feel untouchable. Or, we may feel unworthy, thinking that a relationship with God is only for the virtuous. Whatever the reason, it’s time to shift our focus away from ourselves and towards God’s forgiveness and open arms.

Taking the First Step

It’s time to take the ticket in our hand and walk through the gate. We can do this by acknowledging our mistakes, saying, “I’m sorry, God. Please forgive me.” This simple act of humility opens the door to a deeper connection with God, where He can cleanse, renew, and rebuild our lives.

Releasing Our Lives to God

As we release our lives and mistakes to God, we can finally answer the longing in our hearts. We can know that we qualify to enter into a relationship with God, not because of our own merits, but because of His love and forgiveness.

A Prayer to Begin

Dear Heavenly Father, I need you. I’m sorry for going my own way. Please forgive me. I don’t want to peer through the fence any longer. Thank you that you accept me right here, just as I am. Please begin your work of renewing and rebuilding in my life. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
