The Unshakeable Peace of God
In a world filled with turmoil and uncertainty, it’s easy to feel lost and searching for a sense of calm. But as believers, we have a powerful promise from God – a covenant of peace that brings completeness, harmony, and fulfillment to our lives.
A Promise of Peace
Throughout scripture, we see glimpses of this promise. In Judges 6:24, Gideon builds an altar to the Lord, calling it “The Lord is Peace.” Psalm 85:8 reminds us that God promises peace to His faithful servants. And in Ephesians 2:14, we’re told that Jesus Himself is our peace. This promise is not just a feeling or an absence of struggle, but a deep-seated sense of security and well-being that comes from knowing God as our Jehovah-shalom.
Settled and at Rest
When we invite Jesus into our lives, we can experience a profound sense of rest and unworried blessedness, even in the midst of life’s storms. His presence brings healing to every broken place, and His mighty power gives us victory over every enemy. We can have unshakable faith, knowing that His sufficiency meets every need we face.
The Government of Peace
God’s covenant of peace is not just a feeling, but a government of peace that rules in our lives. His peace brings safety, joy, and wholeness to our spirit, soul, and body. It’s a complete and total fulfillment that comes from knowing Him as our true shalom.
Harmony and Fulfillment
As we receive the blessing of shalom from our covenant-keeping God, we can experience harmony of spirit, soul, and body. We can walk in the benefits of His covenant of peace, living in harmony with ourselves, with God, and with others. In His peace, our hearts can know Him in His fullness, and we can live a life of unwavering trust and confidence in Him.
Be Blessed with Unshakeable Peace
May you be blessed with God’s unshakeable peace, from the inside out. May you know the healing power of His presence, and the restoration of every broken place. May you walk in the harmony and fulfillment that comes from knowing Him as your Jehovah-shalom, your true and complete peace.
