When Silence Is All That’s Left
I recall a moment when my world came crashing down, and the weight of my sorrow was crushing me. It was as if my heart was shattered into a million pieces, and my body was screaming in agony. In that darkest of hours, I felt abandoned, lost, and forsaken.
But then, something miraculous happened. A gentle, loving presence enveloped me, whispering words of comfort and peace. It was as if God, my Heavenly Father, had wrapped His arms around me, holding me close, and speaking directly to my soul.
In that instant, I realized that sometimes, words are not enough. Sometimes, all we need is the silent reassurance of God’s love. The poem “Unspoken Comfort” captures this sentiment beautifully:
In silence, You drew me near,
With a love that calmed my deepest fear.
Though broken and wounded, I lay,
You lifted me up, and chased the darkness away.
In the stillness, I felt Your radiant light,
A warmth that soothed my soul, and made everything right.
Your presence was all I needed, O Lord,
A reminder that Your love is always adored.
In times of despair, when words fail us, God’s silence can be a powerful balm to our weary souls. It’s a reminder that He is always with us, even when we feel most alone. May this poem be a blessing to you, and may you find comfort in the unspoken love of our Heavenly Father.
