Embracing a Life of Supernatural Obedience
As we stand on the cusp of a historic spiritual awakening, I firmly believe that the Great Commission will be fulfilled before the return of our Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:19,20). However, the subtle influence of the world system has led to a proliferation of carnal Christians, a phenomenon unprecedented in church history.
Breaking Free from the World’s Grip
But there’s hope on the horizon. An increasing number of believers are discovering the secret to living a life empowered by the Holy Spirit. They’re spreading the gospel globally, driven by faith and determination to fulfill the Great Commission, no matter the cost.
The Power of Choice
It’s essential to recognize that loving God means obeying Him, and this obedience is not an unattainable feat. As 1 John 5:3,4 reminds us, every child of God can overcome sin and evil desires by trusting Christ to help them. The decision to invite Christ’s assistance is ours to make, a simple matter of the will.
The Danger of Materialism
While there’s nothing inherently wrong with material success, we must not let it consume us. We’re called to set our affections on Christ and His kingdom, rather than the fleeting allurements of this world. Those who prioritize the world system over God’s kingdom rarely experience significant spiritual impact.
A Life of Supernatural Obedience
As we look to the future, I’m convinced that the church will soon enter its finest hour. We’re witnessing a turning point, where more and more Christians are embracing a life of supernatural obedience. Will you join the ranks of those who are trusting Christ to defeat sin and evil pleasure in their lives?
Today’s Action Point
Make a conscious decision to obey God and trust Christ to empower you to live a life that’s truly supernatural. This choice will not only transform your own life but also equip you to take the gospel to all men throughout the world.
