Surrendered to God: Living a Life on Fire with Unwavering Passion

A Passion That Exceeds All Others

As Christians, we are called to live a life that is surrendered to God, a life that is marked by a passion that exceeds all other passions. This passion is not just a feeling, but a choice that we make every day to put God above all other things and people in our lives. It is a passion that stems from a deep desire to know Him more, to trust Him fully, and to live a life that is free from the bondage of fear.

The Danger of Contentment

But what happens when we become content with our lives? When we feel like we have achieved a certain level of success or comfort, it can be easy to become complacent and let our passion for God wane. This is exactly what Jesus warned against in the book of Revelation, when He said, “I know all the things you do, that you are neither hot nor cold. I wish that you were one or the other! But since you are like lukewarm water, neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth!” (Revelation 3:15-16, NLT)

A Call to Live on Fire for God

Jesus’ words may seem harsh, but they are a call to live a life that is fully surrendered to Him. When we are living on fire for God, we are not held back by fear or complacency. We are free to live a life that is marked by abundance and joy, a life that is fully surrendered to God’s will.

The Battle Plan Against Fear

So, how do we live a life that is free from the bondage of fear? It starts with a passion for God that exceeds all other passions. When we are fully surrendered to Him, we are able to trust Him fully and live a life that is marked by faith, not fear. This is the battle plan against fear, and it is a plan that is directed towards a life of abundancy in Christ Jesus.

A Life of Abundancy

When we are living a life that is fully surrendered to God, we are able to experience the abundance of life that He has promised us. We are free to live a life that is marked by joy, peace, and love, a life that is fully surrendered to God’s will. This is the life that God has called us to, a life that is marked by a passion that exceeds all other passions.
