Prioritizing God: The True Measure of Faith

Obedience Over Ambition

When it comes to living a life that honors God, it’s easy to get caught up in the wrong priorities. We often focus on our own abilities, our knowledge of Scripture, and our involvement in church activities. But the truth is, it’s not about how gifted or anointed we are. It’s not about our intellectual understanding of the Bible or our ability to fight spiritual battles.

Faithfulness Matters Most

What truly matters is our obedience to God. It’s not about being the best scholar of the Word, but about becoming a doer of the Word. It’s about being faithful to God, even when no one is watching. Our relationship with Abba Father through Jesus Christ is what truly sets us apart.

Beyond Church Involvement

While being actively involved in ministry is important, it’s not a substitute for a deep, personal connection with God. We can attend church every week, participate in outreach programs, and still miss the mark. It’s time to get real and make Jesus Christ the central figure in our lives.

Money Can’t Buy Righteousness

Nor is it about how much money we can give or how much we can donate to the poor. While generosity is important, it’s not a measure of our righteousness. What truly matters is our willingness to surrender our lives to Jesus Christ and make Him Lord of our lives.

The Time is Now

The time for pretenses is over. Jesus is coming, and it’s time to be ready. We must make a conscious decision to put Him first, to prioritize our relationship with Him above all else. The clock is ticking, and it’s time to get our priorities in order. Will you make Jesus Christ the main deal in your life today?
