Reclaiming the Center: Refocusing on Jesus in a Busy World

Rediscovering the Heart of Our Faith

As we journey through life, it’s easy to lose sight of what truly matters. We get caught up in the hustle and bustle of daily routines, and before we know it, our priorities have shifted. We’re no longer anchored to the One who should be at the center of our lives.

The Danger of Drifting Away

It’s not that we intentionally turn our backs on Jesus; it’s just that we tend to leave Him behind. We get consumed by our careers, our families, and our responsibilities. We make budgets, we plan our days, and we strive to achieve our goals. But in the midst of all this activity, we forget to bring Jesus along.

A Life of Awe and Wonder

Do you remember the last time you gazed up at the sky in speechless amazement, awestruck by God’s majesty? Do you recall the last time you felt humbled by your own limitations and God’s infinite power? If it’s been a while, it’s time to refocus.

The Good News

Here’s the amazing thing: Jesus hasn’t moved. He’s still right there, waiting for us to return to Him. He’s still the same God who loves us, who strengthens us, and who encourages us in every good thing we do and say (2 Thessalonians 2:16).

Reigniting Our Passion

It’s time to rekindle our love for Jesus. It’s time to remember Him, to prioritize Him, and to bring Him back into the center of our lives. Let’s not let the distractions of life push Him to the periphery. Let’s rediscover the joy of living for Him, of being amazed by His glory, and of being transformed by His love.
