Miracle on the Riverbank: A Supernatural Rescue

A Miraculous Rescue

As I sat on a log near the Fraser River, basking in the warm sun and taking in the breathtaking view, I witnessed a scene that would stay etched in my memory forever. Two young children, a boy of about four or five and a girl around seven or eight, strolled along the river’s edge, their laughter and chatter filling the air.

A Game Gone Wrong

The girl, seemingly in a playful mood, would occasionally give the boy a gentle shove, and he would tumble into the water. With each push, the boy ventured further into the river, and I couldn’t help but notice the steep slope and swift current. It was only a matter of time before disaster struck.

A Heart-Stopping Moment

And then, in an instant, it happened. The girl’s shove was a bit too hard, and the boy slid into deeper water, his cry piercing the air as he struggled to stay afloat. The girl’s scream of terror still echoes in my mind. Time seemed to slow down as I watched in horror, knowing that the boy was in grave danger.

A Supernatural Intervention

In a flash, I found myself sprinting across the beach, my feet moving faster than humanly possible. I grabbed the boy just as he was about to slip beneath the surface. The parents, oblivious to the unfolding drama, looked up from their seats, shocked and helpless.

A Heroic Act

By the time they reached us, I had already pulled the boy to safety. The mother rushed over, tears of gratitude streaming down her face, and snatched her crying child from my arms. The girl, overcome with remorse, sobbed apologies, while the mother turned to me and whispered, “Thank you, you’re an angel; you saved my son’s life.”

A Divine Appointment

While I may not claim to be an angel, I firmly believe that it was a divine appointment, a moment of supernatural intervention. My prayer for you this week is that you, too, may experience the presence of God in your life, knowing that He sends His angels to rescue us in times of need.

May you have a blessed week!
