The Fruit of Wisdom
As we reflect on Proverbs 11:30, we’re reminded that godly men are cultivating a tree that yields life-giving fruit. This verse inspires us to prioritize soul-winning, understanding that it’s the wise who reap the benefits of leading others to Christ.
The Role of the Holy Spirit
While I’ve never personally led someone to Christ, I’ve had the privilege of praying with thousands who have received Him as a result of my witness. It’s essential to recognize that conversion is the work of the Holy Spirit. This realization frees us from boasting about our successes or becoming discouraged by our perceived failures. The responsibility for fruit lies with the Holy Spirit, who works in and through believers, producing fruit and transforming lives.
Empowered by Christ
The power of our Lord Jesus Christ is available to all who trust and obey Him. We must grasp the incredible extent of His power to help those who believe. As we reflect on Christ’s commission to His disciples, we’re reminded that He promised to be with them always as they went into the world to preach the gospel.
Your Role in the Harvest
Who do you know who needs to hear the gospel? Take a moment to consider how you can begin communicating it to them. The Lord is always with us, empowering us to share His message.
Take Action Today
Pray for someone in your life who doesn’t yet know Jesus. Ask God for an opportunity to help them take one step closer to Him. As you do, remember that the fruit of wisdom is not about personal achievement, but about being a vessel for the Holy Spirit to work through.
