Trust in the Divine Plan
When we face closed doors, it’s easy to let self-doubt creep in. But what if we saw those doors as a gentle nudge from God, guiding us towards a better path? As Matthew 7:7-8 reminds us, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.”
Learning to Trust
In the past, I struggled to understand why certain doors seemed to slam shut in my face. I took it as a personal failure, a reflection of my worth. But God was trying to tell me something different. He was saying, “No, not this way. I have something better in store for you.” It took time, but I eventually learned to trust His plan, even when it didn’t make sense to me.
God’s Perfect Timing
When we believe that God has a purpose for our lives, it’s easier to accept the closed doors and wait for the ones He has prepared for us. As Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” God’s timing is perfect, and what may seem like a setback today can become a blessing tomorrow.
Looking Beyond the Obstacles
It’s natural to get caught up in the present moment, but God wants us to look beyond the circumstances that confuse us. He wants us to focus on the future He has planned for us, a future filled with hope and purpose. When we trust in His plan, we can move forward with confidence, knowing that every closed door is an opportunity for growth and preparation.
Embracing God’s Sovereignty
As we surrender our lives to God’s ways, we begin to see the beauty in His plan. We realize that the doors He closes are not obstacles, but stepping stones to something greater. And when we finally walk through the open doors He has prepared for us, we’re grateful for the journey that led us there. We’re reminded once again that God orders our steps perfectly, and His plans for us are always good.
