Unleashing the Power Within
As children of the Most High God, we are born to win, created to conquer, and destined for greatness. Yet, we often find ourselves running from challenges, trying to avoid dealing with the obstacles that come our way. It’s time to stop running and start facing our fears head-on.
The Power of Faith
Our salvation is not based on our works, but on our believing. It’s all through faith. The finished work of the cross has made the Grace and Power of God available to us. When Jesus uttered those three powerful words, “IT IS FINISHED!” on the cross, He gave us access to that Grace and Power. What incredible news!
Embracing Weaknesses
Like Paul, we often ask God to take away our weaknesses, only to hear Him say, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” This response may seem counterintuitive, but it’s in our weaknesses that God’s power is made manifest. As Titus 2:11-12 reminds us, “The grace of God has come forward for the deliverance from sin and the eternal salvation for all mankind… It has trained us to reject and renounce all ungodliness and worldly desires, to live discreet, upright, devout lives in this present world.”
Boasting in Weaknesses
It’s time to learn from Paul’s example and boast in our weaknesses, allowing His Grace and Power to shine through. We must recognize that it’s not by our own might, nor by our own power, but by the Spirit of Almighty God that we are destined to conquer.
Facing Fears
What are you afraid of? Are you ready to face those fears and allow the power of God to be made known in your life? It’s essential to deal with our fears before moving forward. Let’s pray, asking for forgiveness for running from our challenges and seeking the courage to face every obstacle head-on, knowing that God has already equipped us with the Grace and Power needed to overcome.
A New Path Forward
From this day forward, let’s learn to trust in God’s power, rather than our own strength. Let’s stop trying to play God and instead, rely on His unmerited favor and blessing. As we do, we’ll discover that His Grace is indeed Power, instructing, equipping, and empowering us to live victorious lives.
