Unworthy No More: God’s Unconditional Invitation to All

The Unwavering Invitation of God

Have you ever felt like you’re not worthy of approaching God? That your mistakes and shortcomings disqualify you from seeking His help? You’re not alone. Many of us have been there, stuck in the quicksand of self-doubt and uncertainty.

The Roadblocks of Life

A woman once came to my office, burdened by the potholes on her road in life. She knew she needed God’s guidance, but she felt too ashamed to pray to Him directly. Instead, she asked me to pray on her behalf, believing that God would hear me more clearly than He would hear her. But she was mistaken.

A Promise of Riches

God has already spoken to this very issue through Paul in Romans 10:12-13. It’s not about who we are or what we’ve done; it’s about who God is. He is rich unto all who call upon Him, offering a wealth of love, compassion, forgiveness, help, strength, wisdom, and so much more. These riches are available to anyone who calls upon Him, regardless of their past mistakes.

An Invitation to Call

You don’t have to waste another minute thinking you’re not worthy of God’s help. The same Lord who is over all is inviting you to call upon Him today. He waits to hear your voice, to come and save you, and to meet your needs out of His boundless riches.

A Prayer of Surrender

Father God, thank you that I can come to you and call upon you, not because of who I am but because of who you are. Thank you that you are the same Lord over all of us and you will show yourself to those who call on you. I cry out to you today to come into my life and my circumstances. Forgive me for the messes I’ve made and meet my needs today out of your rich supply of strength and wisdom. You know what I need today, Lord. Thank you that I can ask because of who you are. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.

The Unconditional Love of God

Remember, God always invites us back – back to repentance, back to forgiveness, and back into fellowship with Him. He waits for us with open arms, ready to pour out His love and mercy upon us. Will you take Him up on His invitation today?
