Embracing Your Divine Purpose
As believers, we often assume that only certain individuals, such as pastors or priests, are “called” by God to serve. However, the truth is that every Christian has a divine purpose, regardless of their background or circumstances.
God Meets Us Where We Are
When we accept Jesus as our Savior, God can use us in incredible ways, despite our feelings of inadequacy or unworthiness. He meets us where we are in life, and our unique experiences, gifts, and talents become the tools He uses to bring others to Him.
From Doubt to Faith
I’ve had my own share of doubts, wondering if I’m making a difference in the kingdom. But God has reminded me that He has called me to write about Him, and what happens after that is in His hands. When we obediently use our talents, God takes our offerings and uses them to His glory, drawing others to Himself.
The Power of Ordinary People
Think back to your own journey – wasn’t there someone who exemplified Jesus’ love and made a significant impact on your life? They may not have been famous, but their simple, genuine faith was instrumental in bringing you to Christ. That’s the power of ordinary people living extraordinary lives for God.
Stepping Out of Inferiority
Dearest Lord, help us to step outside of our feelings of inadequacy and offer ourselves to Your service. We are grateful for all You have done for us, and we desire to use our unique gifts and talents to draw others to You.
Discovering Your Unique Calling
So, what is the unique way that you shine for Jesus? If you’re unsure of your specific calling, ask God to show you. Be open to His answer, and be prepared to be surprised. Your divine purpose awaits – will you answer the call?
