Embracing the Unseen Hand of God

As I navigate the uncharted territory of parenthood, I’m struck by the paradox of exhaustion and overwhelming love. It’s a feeling that’s both exhilarating and humbling. In the midst of this chaos, I find solace in the book of Esther, where God’s presence is palpable, yet His name is nowhere to be found.

The Invisible Thread

This phenomenon reminds me that God often works behind the scenes, weaving an intricate tapestry of circumstances that shape our lives. Whether we’re caring for a newborn or navigating life’s intense moments, God is always at work, even when we’re too overwhelmed to call on Him. As Esther’s story so eloquently illustrates, we are privileged to serve God in whatever season we find ourselves in.

A Royal Position

In the midst of uncertainty, I’m reminded of Esther’s profound question: “Who knows but that I have come to my royal position for such a time as this?” We, too, have been placed in our unique circumstances for a purpose. God has prepared us for this moment, and He will graciously guide us through it, refining us in the process.

Dependence and Trust

As I struggle to find my footing, I’m drawn to the idea of dependence on God. Just as a newborn relies on its caregivers for sustenance, love, and security, so too must I trust in God’s provision. Even when His hand seems invisible, and His voice is silent, I must have faith that He is always with me.

A Prayer of Surrender

Dear God, in the midst of uncertainty, I confess that it’s hard to trust that You are with me. When I feel lost and alone, give me the faith to depend on You, despite what I’m going through. Help me take one more step, one more day. Thank You for Your Spirit alive in me. Thank You for keeping me. Amen.

A Call to Intimacy

In the stillness, I’m reminded that God is always listening, always present. Today, I invite you to join me in prayer, pouring out your deepest yearnings to the One who hears and sees all. May we find comfort in the unseen hand of God, guiding us through life’s triumphs and challenges.
