Discovering God’s Awesomeness in the Darkest Moments
A woman’s courageous words during her battle with aggressive cancer stopped me in my tracks: “How do we know the God we serve is truly awesome if we never face a situation that requires an awesome God?” Her question resonated deeply, making me realize that our understanding of God’s character is often shallow until we’re forced to trust Him in impossible circumstances.
From Theory to Reality
It’s easy to declare God’s awesomeness based on biblical accounts or second-hand stories. However, it’s an entirely different experience to witness His grandeur firsthand. Just as pictures of breathtaking mountains can’t compare to standing at their base, feeling tiny and awestruck, our friend is not just reading about God’s strength – she’s living it.

As she lies in bed, unable to perform even the simplest tasks, she’s discovering the true meaning of God’s awesomeness.
