Finding Solid Ground in Turbulent Times
The year 2018 was marked by unexpected challenges and uncertainties. Many of us found ourselves struggling to find our footing amidst the chaos. But in the midst of turmoil, there is a place of certainty where we can find rest.
A Message of Hope
To those who are weary and anxious, I offer a message of peace. Cease striving to figure everything out and instead, rest in the unfailing love of the Father. His sovereignty is a mystery that we may not always understand, but we can trust that He has everything under control.
Learning to Trust
In times of uncertainty, it’s essential to learn to trust in God’s plan. We may not see the full picture, but we can rely on His grace to carry us through. As 2 Corinthians 12:9 reminds us, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
A Challenge to Rest
I challenge you to take a step back and ask God to help you see your situation through His eyes. Allow Him to broaden your perspective and give you comfort in the rest that He has already provided. Be still and know that He is God – a firm foundation that can steady you and establish your footing on solid ground.
A Prayer for Rest
Father, teach me to rest in your unfailing love. I admit that I get lost trying to navigate life’s ups and downs. I don’t always know where to go or what to think, but you do. May I take comfort in knowing that Your purposes for me will be fulfilled, and that nothing can separate me from Your love. Thank you, Father. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
