Rising from the Floodwaters: A Ministry in Need
Unrelenting rains recently brought devastation to our headquarters, flooding 32 first-floor offices with two feet of water. The damage was extensive, and repairs will take several months to complete. But more pressing than the physical destruction is the potential impact on our ministry projects.
Reaching the World with God’s Word
As a not-for-profit organization, we are committed to publishing gospel-centered content and providing God’s Word to hundreds of thousands of people overseas, often at no cost or at a significantly reduced rate. However, the recent flood has put some of these international efforts at risk.
A Call to Action
We are reaching out to ask for your support during this critical time. Your willingness to stand with us will help us recover and continue our strategic efforts to spread the gospel and the truth of God’s Word. We are seeking assistance in three key areas:
- Damage recovery: Help us cover the portion of the damage not covered by insurance.
- Flood-proofing: Support the installation of new safeguards to protect our building from future floods.
- Bible ministry projects: Ensure that crucial projects can continue to advance, despite the setbacks.
A Specific Goal in Mind
We need your help to raise $360,000 by May 31st, the end of our fiscal year. Your support will enable us to move forward with priority projects, trusting in God’s gracious provision for the work He has called us to do.
Confidence in God’s Plan
Although we don’t know exactly how the Lord will use these events for His kingdom and glory, we are confident in His grace and mercy. As Isaiah 43:2 reminds us, “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you.” We are grateful for your prayers and support during this challenging time.
A Message from Our President
“I would be deeply grateful if you are able to help us at this critical time. Your support will make a significant difference in our ability to continue spreading God’s Word and advancing our ministry projects.” – Lane T. Dennis, PhD, President
