Celebrating 75 Years of Faithfulness

As we mark a major milestone in our ministry, we are filled with gratitude to the Lord for His unwavering faithfulness. The words of Lamentations 3:22-23 echo in our hearts: “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies…are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness!”

A Legacy of Partnership and Support

We extend our deepest thanks to our friends and supporters who have walked alongside us throughout the years. Your prayers, partnership, and generosity have been instrumental in what the Lord has accomplished over the past seven decades.

From Humble Beginnings

Our ministry was founded in 1938 as Good News Publishers, with a mere $20 tithe saved by our founders, Clyde and Muriel Dennis. It’s awe-inspiring to see how the Lord has multiplied that initial gift, along with the faithful contributions of countless others, over the past 75 years.

Recent Evidences of God’s Hand

In the past year alone, the Lord has worked through our ministry in remarkable ways:

• We’ve distributed 23 million gospel tracts, the most in over 30 years.
• We’ve published over 1.9 million gospel-centered books, many of which are available in over 50 languages.
• We’ve launched the new ESV Gospel Transformation Bible.
• We’re on track to distribute more than 1 million ESV Study Bibles worldwide since its first printing in 2008.

God’s Gracious Provision

We’ve also seen the Lord’s provision in two significant ways:

• The Crossway Flood: After a devastating flood swept through our offices, the Lord moved the hearts of people from 35 countries to help us recover. Through generous gifts from over 2,000 people worldwide, we were able to maintain funding for critical Bible projects in China and cover unexpected costs.
• Strategic Bible Projects in China: We’ve seen the Lord’s hand of provision in three ministry projects in China, including Bible translation and distribution initiatives.

Looking to the Future

As we celebrate 75 years of ministry, we’re reminded that the Lord is our Savior and His grace is always sufficient. With this confidence, we’re deeply grateful to our partners and supporters as we look forward to seeing the Lord’s continued provision for our ministry. Together, we’ll continue to share the truth of God’s Word and the riches of the gospel with a world desperately in need of Christ our Savior.
