Living Out Our Faith in Christ

Embracing Our New Identity in Christ

As followers of Jesus, we are called to remember the significance of our baptism – a powerful symbol of our new identity in Him. This identity is not based on our own merits, but on God’s declaration that we are His righteous children, despite our sinful nature.

A New Name, A New Identity

Just as God gave Abram a new name, signifying his new role as the father of many nations, our baptism into the name of the Father, Son, and Spirit marks us as part of God’s family. This new identity compels us to share the love of God with those who do not yet know Him.

Beyond Sunday Worship

Being a Christian is more than just attending church on Sundays. It’s about embracing God’s mission in every aspect of our lives. This means living out our faith in our daily interactions, relationships, and communities.

Recovering a Biblical View of Discipleship

In order to live out our faith effectively, we need to recover a biblical view of discipleship. This involves understanding our role as ambassadors of Christ and living a life that reflects His love and teachings.

Embracing God’s Mission

By embracing our new identity in Christ and recovering a biblical view of discipleship, we can joyfully participate in God’s mission to share His love with the world. This is a call to live a life of purpose, passion, and meaning, as we seek to make a difference in the lives of those around us.
