Defending the Unborn: A Path Forward

Protecting the Unborn: A Call to Action

The recent overturning of Roe and Casey has brought a new era in the fight for life. No longer will nine unelected judges have sole authority over abortion policy. Instead, the decision now lies with individual states and, ultimately, the American people.

A False Sense of Security

While some may rejoice at the decrease in abortion numbers, we must not become complacent. Reducing abortion is not enough; our goal is to ensure that unborn humans are granted the same protections under the law as every other human being. We must work towards a society that values the intrinsic dignity of all human life.

Confronting the Worldview

To achieve this goal, we must engage the public with a persuasive case for life that confronts abortion at its core. This requires all pro-life Christians to be equipped to make a compelling argument for life in their daily interactions. We must be prepared to challenge the deeply entrenched worldview assumptions that make abortion plausible to many.

The Power of Imagery

One effective tool in this fight is the use of abortion victim imagery. While some may object to these images, citing emotional manipulation, we must not shy away from the truth. These pictures convey the harsh reality of abortion and can change how people feel about it. By using them in a responsible and substantiated manner, we can reframe the debate and awaken the moral conscience of the nation.

Debunking Common Myths

Several myths surrounding abortion must be debunked. One such myth is that pro-life laws prevent women from receiving life-saving surgeries or prosecute them for miscarriage. These claims are outright lies. In reality, no state law prohibits emergency treatment for pregnant women, and most laws explicitly state that women will not be prosecuted for miscarriage.

A Call to Action

As we move forward in this fight, we must remember that our goal is not simply to reduce abortion numbers but to protect the unborn. We must be willing to act, even when it’s difficult, and stand alone in our calling to save children. Let us work together to create a society that values all human life, from conception to natural death.
