**Finding Strength to Bless Others**

When Life Gets Tough, Remember Why You’re Strong

Have you ever stopped to think about why God comforts and strengthens us in our darkest moments? It’s not just so we can feel better, although that’s certainly a wonderful byproduct. According to 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, God’s ultimate purpose is for us to pay it forward, sharing His comfort and strength with others who are struggling.

Think about it: every mercy, every comfort, every strengthening we receive from God is not just for our own benefit. It’s so we can be a blessing to someone else. This scriptural principle is a game-changer. It means that our hardships and trials are not just about us; they’re about becoming a source of hope and encouragement to others.

The apostle Paul knew this firsthand. Despite facing persecution and affliction, he was overflowing with joy, praise, and thanksgiving. He knew that every comfort he received from God was not just for his own sake, but so he could comfort others.

So what does this mean for us? It means we’re not just recipients of God’s blessings; we’re also conduits of His love and comfort. As we live in the supernatural strength of the Lord, let’s make a conscious effort to share that strength with others. Let’s not hoard God’s blessings; let’s use them to make a difference in the lives of those around us.

**Today’s Action Point:** As you reflect on the comfort and strength God has given you, ask yourself: how can I share this with someone else today?
