**Trusting God in Uncertain Times**

**Finding Peace in Uncertain Times**

As I stood in my backyard, watching the birds flit from branch to branch, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of awe at their carefree existence. They didn’t worry about where their next meal was coming from or whether they had a safe place to rest. And yet, they were provided for, day in and day out.

It got me thinking – if God takes care of the birds, why do we worry so much about our own lives? We stress about having enough food, enough clothes, enough money… but isn’t life more than just these basic needs? Isn’t our worth and value as human beings so much greater than just our physical existence?

The Bible reminds us that God is our heavenly Father, who feeds the birds and clothes the flowers. If He cares for them, how much more does He care for us? Our worries and fears may seem overwhelming, but they can’t add a single moment to our lives. It’s time to release our cares and concerns to Him, trusting that He is well able to take care of each and every one.

**A Heart of Gratitude**

As I reflect on God’s love and provision, I’m filled with gratitude. He gives to us so freely, even when we don’t deserve it. He’s always there, even when we doubt Him. His love is amazing, His concern for us baffling. And yet, we so often let fear and doubt cloud our vision.

Today, I want to renew my focus on God’s goodness. I want to trust Him totally, knowing that He can and will take care of me, just as He does the sparrows. I want to thank Him for His amazing grace and unfailing love.

**A Prayer of Trust**

Dear God, Your love is so amazing. Your concern for us is sometimes baffling. Even when we don’t deserve Your grace, You are right there. Thank you for giving to us so freely. Forgive us for not always trusting You totally. We are so prone to letting fear and doubt cloud our vision. You have never let us down and we take this moment to thank You for always doing exceedingly abundantly above all we may ask or think, even in our times of doubt. Today we renew our focus. We recognize that You can and You will always take care of us, just as you do the sparrows. Thank you for Your amazing grace. Thank you for Your unfailing love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
