**God’s Empowering Purpose**

**Empowered for Purpose**

Have you ever felt like you’re in way over your head, unsure if you have what it takes to tackle a challenge or fulfill a calling? I know I have. But then I’m reminded of a powerful truth: God doesn’t look for ability, He looks for availability.

The Bible tells us that God is the one who equips us with everything we need to do His will. In Hebrews 13:20-21, we’re reminded that it’s the God of peace who brought Jesus back from the dead, and it’s He who works in us to accomplish His purposes. This truth is echoed in 1 Peter 2:9, 2 Peter 1:3, and Philippians 2:13, among other places.

So, what’s our role in all of this? It’s simple: we need to allow God to work in and through us. We need to cooperate with Him, believe in His power, listen to His voice, and obey His instructions. And the best part? We don’t have to do it in our own strength. God’s Spirit works within us, empowering us to fulfill His purposes.

It’s a beautiful thing when we realize that God chooses those who seem weak or inadequate in the eyes of the world. He takes pleasure in using the unlikely to accomplish great things. And when we surrender to His will, He equips us with everything we need to succeed.

**A Prayer for Empowerment**

Lord, thank You for choosing and calling us according to Your purpose. Equip us with everything we need to do Your will, for Your honor and glory. May we allow You to work in and through us, and may we bring You joy as we fulfill Your purposes. Amen.
