The Only Boast That Matters: True Fulfillment in God’s Love

The Only Boast Worth Making

In a world where values are distorted, promises are empty, and fame is short-lived, what is truly worth boasting about? The answer lies in the unwavering love, boundless grace, and unrelenting blessings of the Lord.

A World of False Promises

We live in a society where self-promotion and boasting are encouraged, but ultimately lead to disappointment and emptiness. It’s easy to get caught up in the cycle of seeking validation from others, but true fulfillment comes from recognizing the Lord’s sovereignty and majesty.

The Lord’s Approval

As 2 Corinthians 10:17-18 reminds us, “It is not the one who commends himself who is approved, but the one whom the Lord commends.” Our worth and value come not from our own accomplishments or possessions, but from the Lord’s approval and blessing.

What Can We Boast In?

So, what can we boast in? Is it our wealth, status, or achievements? No, the only boast worth making is in the Lord’s steadfast love, His incredible riches of grace, and His incomparable supply of blessings. It’s in the sweetness of His people, the mercy of His plan for our salvation, and the promise of His tomorrow.

A Heartfelt Prayer

Dear Lord of majesty and mercy, every good and enduring thing in my life I have because of You. Thank You for Your eternal grace and love. May I never forget that my worth and value come from You alone.
