**Tuning In to God’s Gentle Whisper**

In the midst of life’s chaos, it’s easy to miss the gentle whispers of God. But what if we could tune in to His frequency, aligning our hearts with His rhythm?

I’m reminded of the symphony orchestra, where each musician takes their cue from a single note. They play, listen, and adjust until their sounds blend in perfect harmony. I long for my heart to resonate with God’s, like the sympathetic vibration of two grand pianos.

In 1 Kings 19, Elijah waits on a mountain for God to pass by. The wind howls, the fire rages, and the earth shakes, but God isn’t in the noise. He comes in a gentle whisper, a soft breeze that requires stillness to hear. I need to quiet my heart and tune in to that whisper, for without it, my best efforts are mere noise.

Even professional musicians must tune their instruments daily, ensuring they’re in harmony with the rest of the orchestra. I want my life to be like that – a daily quest to listen for God’s voice, to adjust my heart and attitude until they reflect His character.

Father, I pray that you would “tune my heart to sing thy grace.” Teach me to pause and listen for your whisper. Keep me still until my heart sings in harmony with yours. Mold me so that my words and actions reflect your love. Thank you for your patience. I’m listening.

When do you find it hardest to hear God’s whisper? Where do you go to tune in to His gentle voice?
