Unlocking the Secret to a Life of Abundance
As I reflect on my journey of faith, I am reminded of a profound promise made by Jesus in Matthew 19:29: “And anyone who gives up his home, brothers, sisters, father, mother, wife, children, or property, to follow Me, shall receive a hundred times as much in return [in this life], and shall have eternal life.” This promise has been a guiding force in my life, and I can confidently attest to its truth.
A Life of Sacrifice, A Life of Abundance
Over the past three decades, I have had the privilege of walking alongside hundreds of Christian leaders and humble servants of God from around the world. I have witnessed firsthand the transformative power of surrendering one’s life to Christ. Without exception, those who have invested their time, talent, and treasure in God’s kingdom have experienced a hundredfold return in this life, and will inherit eternal life.
The Urgency of the Hour
As I look out at the world today, I am keenly aware of the formidable forces of secular humanism, atheism, materialism, and communism that seek to undermine our faith. It would be easy to succumb to pessimism, but I remain optimistic, not because of what I see, but because of what I believe God is saying to my heart. The Bible reminds me that “Greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world” (1 John 4:4, KJV).
A Formula for Success
So, what is the secret to unlocking a life of abundance? It begins with recognizing that everything we have belongs to God, and we are merely His stewards on earth. God desires us to be generous with His blessings, not hoarding them for ourselves. As the Bible teaches, “As you sow, you reap.” To experience true success, we must invest generously, above the tithe, in time, talent, and treasure. And we must do so supernaturally, by faith.
A Call to Action
As I reflect on my own life, I am reminded of the importance of prayerfully seeking God’s guidance on how to maximize my life for His glory. I encourage you to do the same. Recognize yourself as God’s steward, and seek to learn what He would have you do to invest your time, talent, and treasure in His kingdom.
