Finding Comfort in God’s Presence
The Bible reminds us of the incredible privilege we have as believers to dwell in the shelter of the Most High. As Psalm 91:1 so beautifully puts it, “He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.” What a comforting thought!
The Nearness of God
In reality, God is never far from us. His presence is always available, waiting for us to draw near. It’s a matter of choice – do we desire to be close to Him, or do we allow distractions to separate us from His loving care?
A Prayer for Nearness
As we reflect on God’s promise of shelter and comfort, let’s pray together: “O great Almighty God, tender Shepherd and Abba Father, make known to me your nearness. I long to live in your presence and reflect your holiness and grace. By Jesus’ blood, I draw near to you in full assurance of your love and grace. Amen.”
