As I reflect on the profound words of Psalm 139:17, “How precious it is, Lord, to realize that You are thinking about me constantly,” I am reminded of a heartwarming experience that brought this truth to life.
A Fleeting yet Unforgettable Encounter
My son and his wife arrived at our doorstep just as we were preparing to leave for a conference. They had driven through the night from northern Alberta, eager for us to meet our newest granddaughter, Sarah. As I held her in my arms, a surge of love overwhelmed me, creating an instant bond with this precious child. Though our time together was brief, I couldn’t shake off the feeling of affection and connection.
A Glimpse into God’s Unrelenting Love
During the conference, my mind wandered back to Sarah, and I was struck by the realization that God’s love for me surpasses even the deepest human connections. The verse from Psalm 139:17 resonated deeply within me: “You are thinking about me constantly.” It dawned on me that God’s love is not limited by time or space; He is always thinking about me, guiding me, and loving me.
